Library Day in Tallahassee

Each year, when the Florida Legislature is in session, Friends and library advocates gather in Tallahassee on a day determined by the Florida Library Association, frequently in March. The purpose is to meet with their Senators and Representatives as well as leaders of key committees to encourage them to support funding for State Aid to Public Libraries as well as Public Library Construction, Multi-Type Library Cooperatives and Public School Libraries.

Tallahassee Day is scheduled for March 18, 2015 this year.
